In this issue of Frakcija Performing Arts Journal we approach the matter of choreography by circumscribing it, touching upon it, laying a tangent on it - inquiring around contemporary dance by researching choreography's other means: networked interaction, cinematic and virtual spaces, urban cartography, political space and space of policy, spaces outfitted with tangible devices aiming to inspire motion. How does it feel on the tips of one's fingers to touch someone virtually who physically exists in another space and time? Can object-oriented movement sequences on stage, or the performance itself, function as a set of sequential performative algorithms? How is choreographic practice effected by the strategies of cultural policy, and can those strategies be choreographed? Is it all according to the plan? Or...
